Why Natural & Organic Matter
Your skin absorbs more than you think, and most skincare products on the market are packed with harmful chemicals silently wreaking havoc on your body.
The Hidden Toxins in Skincare: A Wake-Up Call
Parabens: These common preservatives disrupt hormones by mimicking estrogen and are linked to breast cancer and reproductive issues (Darbre & Harvey, 2008). Their prolonged use can also accelerate skin aging by weakening collagen fibers.
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS): A harsh detergent found in cleansers and shampoos, SLS strips away your skin’s natural moisture barrier, leading to inflammation, dryness, and increased acne. It’s also been shown to irritate the skin and eyes, causing chronic conditions with continued use (Pancio et. al., 2019).
Artificial Fragrances: Hidden under the term “fragrance,” these blends can contain up to 4,000 undisclosed chemicals. Many of these are allergens, hormone disruptors, and/or potential carcinogens.
Mineral Oil: A byproduct of petroleum, mineral oil forms a barrier on the skin that traps dirt, bacteria, and dead cells, contributing to acne and clogged pores. It also impairs the skin’s natural detoxification process, leading to dullness and premature aging.
Phthalates: Common in beauty products to increase flexibility in plastics, phthalates are linked to hormonal disruptions, birth defects, and fertility problems. They have also been shown to accumulate in the body, increasing toxicity over time (Hauser et al., 2006).
PFAs (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances): Dubbed "forever chemicals," PFAs are used in skincare and cosmetics to increase product spreadability and water resistance. However, PFAs are linked to serious health concerns, including hormone disruption, immune system suppression, and an increased risk of cancer. Studies have also shown that these chemicals persist in the environment and can accumulate in human tissue over time (Whitehead et. al, 2021).
Choosing natural, toxin-free alternatives ensures your skin—and your body—are not burdened by harmful ingredients.
Why Choose Essential Oils?
Essential oils are the essence of plant life—potent, healing, and deeply connected to the earth. These oils have been used for centuries to treat a variety of skin issues, thanks to their antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and balancing properties. When it comes to skincare, essential oils work in harmony with your body’s natural processes, encouraging healing without the use of synthetic additives. We believe in the ancient wisdom of plants, and we’ve carefully chosen this blend for its ability to clear acne, reduce the appearance of aging, and bring out your skin’s natural beauty.
Nature’s Potent Skin Healers
Filtered Water: A hydrating base that helps your skin absorb the active ingredients.
Witch Hazel: Known for its powerful astringent properties, witch hazel tightens pores, reduces inflammation, and controls excess oil, making it ideal for acne-prone skin (Piazza et al., 2022).
Vitamin C: Brightens complexion, fades dark spots, and evens skin tone by boosting collagen production. Vitamin C is essential for firm, youthful-looking skin (Pullar et al., 2017).
Hyaluronic Acid: Deeply hydrates, plumping the skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while creating a smooth, supple texture.
Lavender Essential Oil: A powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant soothes irritated skin, reduces redness and acne breakouts, while softening the appearance of fine lines for a beautiful, clear complexion.
Fun fact! Research shows lavender helps regenerate skin cells, promoting faster healing and a more youthful complexion (Mori et al., 2016).
Tea Tree Essential Oil: A natural antiseptic that fights acne-causing bacteria and reduces breakouts, while its anti-inflammatory properties soothe irritated skin, making it an ideal choice for acne-prone individuals (Enshaieh et al., 2007).
Frankincense Essential Oil: Praised for its anti-aging benefits for centuries, frankincense stimulates cellular regeneration, promotes skin elasticity, and reduces the appearance of scars and fine lines, promoting youthful skin (Kotbet al., 2023).
Patchouli Essential Oil: A skin savior rich in antioxidants provides protection from UV damage while enhancing skin elasticity and smoothness (Bickers et al., 2016; Swamy & Sinniah, 2015).
Ylang-ylang Essential Oil: Helps refine pores, remove impurities, balance sebum production, and restore moisture, leaving your skin refreshed and glowing.
*We are dedicated to using high-quality, predominantly organic ingredients. Although some ingredients may not be available in organic form, we ensure our commitment to natural excellence remains unwavering.
Application Ritual
After washing your face with Clear Complexion, take one pre-soaked toner round and gently wipe it across your face and neck, in small circular motions, avoiding the eye area. This magical blend will penetrate deep into your pores, releasing impurities and balancing your skin.
Begin with one round nightly to reset your skin, allowing the powerful ingredients to work their magic. Stubborn acne may warrant twice daily use, use your judgment and lessen use if excessive redness, irritation, or drying results.
Follow with Acne Fighter Roll-On Blend and finish with Nature’s Glow Acne & Anti-Aging Cream for a complete acne-fighting, anti-aging ritual.
Eco-Friendly Packaging
The all-natural toner rounds are stored in thick, amber glass jars with sleek, black airtight lids to prevent spills and leaks, harmful chemical leaching from plastics, and protect from UV damage, maintaining their purity and potency. Each 4 oz glass jar contains 32 pre-soaked cotton rounds offering a month of deep pore cleansing — perfect for your nightly skincare ritual or for quick refreshes on the go.
Feel confident knowing we’re intentional about every detail because your health and happiness matters. 💕
